THE WORKSHOPS TAKE PLACE IN WALDECKEN10. THIS CHARACTERISTIC COUNTRY HOUSE IS LOCATED IN THE WOODED HILLS OF THE VOLCAN EIFEL, ABOUT A 3-HOUR DRIVE FROM UTRECHT. THE WORKSHOPS ARE ALL-INCLUSIVE, YOU RELAX, WE DO THE REST. GET PAUSED IN THIS MINI HOTEL IN THE FORESTS.
The 100m2 living room is a nice space with an open kitchen and cozy seating area, and importantly: long dining tables. Enough space for the workshops and to find your own place.
Waldecken10 has outdoor areas for every time of the day. Have breakfast in the courtyard, have lunch on the veranda, light a fire at the fire pit, dream in the evening sun in the rose garden with the pond or take a nap in one of the hammocks. From the western balcony you can see the sun setting behind the hills. And if you want to retreat into the shade for a while, there is the Northern Balcony.
At Waldecken10 we love good food, vegetarian and with the seasons. Everything is provided during the workshops: a delicious breakfast buffet, lunch, snacks and a delicious dinner. You can focus entirely on the workshop, we will take care of the rest!
It is so quiet in the Volcanic Eifel that you can hear field mice snoring. During workshops, your bed is already completely made up and ready. There are 6 single rooms, 1 double room and one gypsy wagon in the roser garden.
Fireplace, easy chair and carefully selected books in the cupboards; that is our library cum cinema. We also hung a projector in this room and scoured the marketplace for classics that you won’t find on Netflix. Tip: leave your mobile screen behind this holiday and let this quality screen be your only screen. Light the fire and enjoy offline.
In the winter garden you look out over the flower garden and the valley behind the house. The ideal place for a good book, a good conversation, to paint or just to muse…
The rose garden recently added a wood-fired hot tub and a Finnish sauna. Relax in one of the nicest places in Waldecken10. Enjoy the silence and the majestic view.
Waldecken10 has two bathrooms and three toilets. A third bathroom is under construction downstairs in the basement.
